Reflections from Inner Space
Reflections from Inner Space examines the personal experience of being- in-the -world. The aim of this blog is not to simply present a psychological perspective on events, but to bring forth the inner world of experience in order to examine the relationships between internal and external realities and how events in the world affect the individual. The meaning of any given experience is socially constructed through the conscious and unconscious processing of multiple intersecting dynamics constituted by language, mediated images, interpersonal interactions, and socialized routines. Given this complexity, confusion is a given and processing an experience often becomes a solitary event or restricted to the psychotherapy office. I hope that this blog will facilitate an emotional/psychological conversation about a range of personal, theoretical, cultural, and political events.
